Curbli (a Rudra Tech product) helps homeowners design outdoor lighting on a photo of their house, see an AI preview, and connect with local lighting pros. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: name, mobile number, email, and (if you choose) your home address. Pros also give a business name, business address, phone, website and service area.
- Your designs: house photos you upload, the lines you draw, light choices, notes, and AI previews made from them.
- Location: your zip code. If you allow it, the app reads your location once to fill in the zip; it is not tracked in the background. A photo's location may be read to suggest the zip.
- Messages between you and pros you connect with, and reports you send us.
- Basic technical data: a device id for preview limits, sign-in sessions, and server logs (IP address, time) for security.
How we use it
- To make your design and AI preview, estimate prices, and show pros who serve your area.
- To let you and a pro reach each other once you choose to connect.
- To keep the service safe: sign-in codes, rate limits, and reviewing reports of misuse.
- To bill pros the platform fee on completed jobs.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who we share it with
- Pros you connect with see your name, contact details, your request and design, and your address if you share it. A pro sees a posted request (zip, design, notes) before you accept, without your contact details.
- OpenAI receives the house photo and drawing to create the AI preview, only after you agree in the app. It is used to make the image, not to identify you.
- Google (Maps Platform) checks addresses and finds local business listings; Google Sign-In if you choose it.
- Resend delivers sign-in code emails. Our hosting and database providers store data for us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. Open projects and photos you delete are removed. When you delete your account, your personal details, photos, previews, designs, open requests and the messages you sent are erased. We keep a record of completed jobs (without your name) only as long as needed for fees, taxes and disputes.
Your choices
- Edit your details in Account.
- Delete your account any time in the app (Account → Delete account) or at /delete-account.
- Turn off location or camera access in your phone's settings; you can still type a zip and pick a photo.
- Block or report a pro or customer from any chat.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as secure hashes. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
Curbli is for adults (18+) arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your state rights
Depending on where you live (for example California), you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and not be discriminated against for asking. Email aria.social@rudratechai.com.
